Hi everyone! I’ve decided to make a new body scrub, and I did it a bit differently then the last body scrub I posted about. As with all body scrubs, this lavender body scrub is super easy and can be done in only three steps!

The differences with this lavender body scrub is the addition of almond oil and a mixture of calming essential oils. In this post I will show you how to make this body scrub, all the ingredients you will need, and where you can find the ingredients.

Find out how to make this super easy lavender sugar scrub. This sugar scrub has coconut oil, which is super nourishing for your skin, and brown sugar to help exfoliate. Lavender essential oil makes this scrub smell amazing and is a perfect way to help you relax and reduce stress. #DIY #DIYideas #bath #skincare #bodyscrub #sugarscrub #coconutoil #brownsugar #lavender #exfoliating

I just recently started using almond oil for my skin and have found that it works amazing at healing my dry skin. The essential oils I used also make this scrub smell so good and make it a great addition to any relaxing shower or bath. I hope you guys like it!

This recipe makes about 16 oz of body scrub. At the end of this post, I have included links where you can find each of the ingredients listed above.

I like my scrubs really oily because I have such bad dry skin, but if you like them less oily, you can change the recipe to 1/4 cup – 1/2 cup of coconut oil instead*.

Step 1: Melt the coconut oil so that it is completely liquid.

Step 2: Next, add the almond oil and essential oils to the coconut oil and stir until combined.

Step 3: Add the oil mixture to two cups of brown or white sugar. I chose brown sugar for this recipe. Mix the oil and sugar until combined. (Use more sugar for a rougher, more exfoliating scrub)

So easy, the sugar scrub is finished! Now all that’s left is to put it in a container of your choice. I hope you guys like this scrub! Below I will show you where you can get all the ingredients for this scrub.

Sounds great. I can’t wait to try it, but I have a question: After rinsing off the body scrub, does it leave a slippery residue on the shower floor?

    1. Thank you, I hope you like it! I usually use it in the bathtub and it does tend to leave some oil around the rim of the bathtub, so it may make the shower floor a little slippery, but I’m not completely sure. I would say be cautious until you know for sure, I hope that answers your question!

  4. Oh, this brings back good memories of when my friend made me a vanilla brown sugar scrub as a gift. She mentioned the ingredients were edible…I confess, I did eat some of it. Need to make this again–I like the addition of vanilla EO (but I won’t be eating it this time around! 😉 )

    1. What a great gift, makes me want to try making a vanilla scrub next time. I did make a coffee sugar scrub once that tasted pretty good. 😋 Thanks for checking out my post!

  5. Since we started a Ketogenic WOE, we need a use for the sugar we no longer use for cooking/baking (except for holidays and baking for others!) Thanks for sharing!
