Hi everyone! I know toddlers change so fast, but there’s been a few toys that have become favorites for our daughter for awhile now. It can be tough to decide what toys to get sometimes with the huge selection that’s out there in stores, so I thought I’d put together this list if anyone is looking for ideas. Some are great for toys on the go, some are great for skill-building, and others are good for outdoors. This list definitely has something for everybody!

A lot of these toys can be used for a long time. I also try to stay away from toys with tons of small pieces to make cleanup easier. Feel free to comment below if you have any favorites that weren’t on this list, and I’d love to check them out.

Honeysticks Jumbo Crayons

Honeysticks jumbo crayons. Perfect for toddlers!

These Honeysticks Jumbo Crayons are used every day in our house! Drawing is our daughter’s favorite activity while I’m cooking or getting work done.

These crayons are super strong and hard to lose because of their bigger size. I’ve purchased several boxes of cheap, big name crayons, and every crayon is lost or broken into a bunch of pieces. At the same time, I still have almost all of these jumbo crayons because they’re so much stronger and easier to keep organized with their bigger size.

Finger Popper Fidget Toy

Our daughter absolutely loves these Finger Popper toys.

Amazon has so many different kinds too, depending on your preference.

These small, simple toys are perfect for keeping kids entertained while shopping, being in the car, or just playing in general. They are great at keeping toddlers busy!

Strider Balance Bike

Strider balance bike. Perfect for toddlers!

I had to add this to the list because our daughter absolutely loves her Strider Bike!

It’s a great way for toddlers to learn how to ride a bike without needing training wheels, or having to figure out pedals. Our toddler surprisingly picked it up really fast, and loves to ride it anywhere.

This bike a great way to get outdoors too. I would suggest getting a helmet with it. It never hurts to be on the cautious side, and there’s lots of stores that carry helmets for kids of all ages.

B. Mini Monster Truck Set

I initially bought this Monster Truck Set for a camping trip we went on this summer, but our daughter loved them so much that she plays with them all the time.

Since it’s such a big set, I keep some in our park bag, some in the car, and some in the house.

They’re super easy to clean and come with a nice carrying case too if you want to keep them all together.

Scribble Glow Doodle Board

Scribble Glow Doodle Board. Perfect for toddlers!

As you know from earlier in this post, our daughter loves drawing. This doodle pad is another perfect solution to keep her busy in places she can’t normally color with crayons, like in the car or stores.

I also liked this pad compared to other drawing pads because the pen stays attached so you can’t lose it.

Lovevery Play Kit

This is probably the priciest thing on this list, but I cannot praise Lovevery toy kits enough and feel like the price is totally worth it!

Each kit is created for specific age groups, and is so great at helping children develop so many different skills.

Our daughter has been obsessed with all of these toys since we got this set. The toys are all so well-made and will last a long time.

Nesting Dolls

Nestig Doll Set. Perfect for toddlers!

These nesting dolls are a big hit with our daughter lately. I was surprised to find out Amazon has so many different kinds, like animals, gnomes, or fairies.

I’m not sure why I never thought to get her these, but I always loved them when I was little. When I was pregnant and putting together her nursery, I put my old ones in her room, and they became one of her favorite toys. The only problem is mine were so old and missing a bunch of pieces, so I bought her this new set.

Little People Princess Castle

I know so many other kids who love Little People from Fisher-Price. We were lucky enough to have the castle play set handed down to us, and our daughter loves it!

It makes different sounds, lights up, and is a pretty durable toy overall. It’s also light enough that our toddler can move it around the house when she wants.

There are so many other types of Little People play sets out there too, like airplanes, buses, or farms.

Perfectly Cute Baby Doll Set

Perfectly Cute Baby Doll Set. Perfect for toddlers!

Every kids is so different, and I wasn’t sure if our daughter would like playing with baby dolls. With that in mind, I didn’t want to get anything too expensive in case she didn’t like it.

Surprisingly, she loves this baby doll set! She loves to give the baby doll their pacifier and make them pretend food, which melts my heart to see.
