Now I know this is a total secret to most of my followers… but my fiancé and I are getting married this summer! Since the start of my blog, I’ve kept a lot of the details of my personal life to somewhat of a minimum and I’m sure you all would like to know more about me. We got engaged last April, and I don’t even think I’ve mentioned that on here yet! So, from now on, I’m going to try to open up more here on my blog, and that starts with our wedding.
Of course I’m going to keep some details a secret, because our wedding day is super special to us and I want many aspects of it to stay between my fiancé and I and our loved ones before sharing about it here on my blog. So, until then, I wanted write this blog post first that is somewhat of a mood board for our wedding. I’ve included most of the pins I have saved for my wedding inspo and explain what I love about them (if I include them all, then this post would be 100+ pages long!).
All photos and ideas included in this post are directly from Pinterest. Pin source information will be included below each photo, or you can simply click on the photo to be taken to the source’s website. Some items are also available for sale and can be found by visiting the links provided.

The Arch
First, I’d like to start off with the inspiration for our arch. These arches below are so beautiful! I initially was thinking of having a round arch, but will most likely go with a square wooden arch. I’d have to say the first photo is my favorite. I love the white flowers and feel like they go so well with that gorgeous backdrop!

Table Setting
I’m always in awe at these perfect table settings! Also, I’m not sure if you can tell by these pins or by the color scheme of my whole blog, but I am slightly obsessed with the color dusty-blue. Honestly, it’s my favorite color and I feel it will go perfect for a light and airy summer wedding.

Table Arrangements
So, we have yet to hire a florist but until we meet with one, this is what I have in mind. I definitely want to do something similar to the pictures above, but we are also thinking of including the following ideas below because they look amazing!

Invitations
I absolutely love these laser-cut invitations, but I’m not entirely sure if that’s something we will go with. Our save the dates were a dusty-blue color with flowers, so we might do something a bit different for the invitations. Definitely something we need to figure out soon!

Signage
So, we’ve decided that we most likely won’t do signage for our wedding. Even with that being said, these ideas are so beautiful for any wedding that I just had to share them on here!

Wedding Cake
My fiancé isn’t big on super artistic wedding cakes, so we will go for a cake that is a bit more simple. I really like cakes that are a little rustic-looking. I also love the cake designs with a bit of gold, so we will have to wait and see what we come up with!

Aisle Details
For the aisle, I love the idea of walking on flower pedals, but then I think about having to clean up all those pedals and that would be torture! So, that is definitely something I might have to reconsider. Aside from that, I love the look of the barrels and floral arrangements on each side of the aisle in the second photo.

Cocktail Hour
Even though this is the one part of the wedding that we’re not included in, I still want our guests to have a good time! Which is reason #1 why I am dying to find some personalized corn hole boards, because everyone we know loves to play and these look so good! I also love the chalkboard cocktail menu in the second photo to list his and hers drinks at cocktail hour.

Remembrance Table
Last but absolutely not least is a remembrance table. This is one of the things that we are certain we want included at the venue on our wedding day as a way of showing remembrance for all of our loved ones that we have lost who can’t be there with us on that special day.

Well, that’s all for now on my wedding inspiration! I’m also thinking of doing a post on my ideas for hair and makeup. So, if any if you would like to see a post on that, let me know and I’ll get to writing that as soon as I can! Also, as I said before, if you have any other ideas or tips, please feel free to share them in the comments!

It’s a beautiful inspiration board! I love the white and rustic look! Best wishes for you!

Hi friend! I like the rustic , we had ours in a barn lol. My feedback with the cake is the rustic one, if you really want gold see if they can work in like twine size gold… Maybe circling each layer with a bow? Just an idea I also want to say congratulations!

Hello! Thank you so much. I love barn weddings. That is a great idea for the cake too! I’ll have to browse Pinterest to see if I can find something similar to show the vendor.
