It’s still so crazy to think that 2020 is already here! Now begins the awkward period where I mess up and write 2019 on everything for the next couple of months. In light of the new year, I thought I would gather my top 10 blog posts of 2019 as a way to reflect on the past year of my website.
Just as an FYI, I’m categorizing my top posts of 2019 by views. I figured that would help me decide which posts are more popular than others. I hope you guys enjoy this list and if there are any posts that look interesting to you, please feel free to check them out!
#1 – Lavender, Brown Sugar, & Coconut Oil Body Scrub
To start off, here’s my #1 top post from 2019! This scrub will always be one of my favorites. Next time I’d like to try a lavender scrub with white sugar so I can add purple coloring, definitely an idea for a future post…
#2 – Sunshine Blogger Award
Still so grateful to mel for the nomination! This was the first time I was nominated for a Sunshine Blogger Award. A huge thank you to MJ for my second nomination!
#3 – Early Spring Cleaning
This post was so satisfying to write. Definitely going to have to do some early spring cleaning again this year. My house could use it, especially after the holidays. For some reason the holidays always turn my house upside down!
#4 – Winter Decor / Decorating After the Holidays
Every time I see this post it makes me think of cozy days spent in our home during the winter. I’m still dying to get some big hurricanes like the ones in this post!
#5 – Valentine’s Day Decor
It’s so interesting how well my decor posts did in 2019. I’m definitely taking it as a sign that I should write more posts on home decor in the future. This one also reminds me, Valentine’s Day is coming up again soon!
#6 – DIY Cleaner for White Faux Leather
I’ve noticed a lot of people from Pinterest like this post, which is pretty interesting. The cleaner recipe in this post works soo good! It’s also amazing how many things vinegar can be used for.
#7 – 7 of My Favorite Sustainable Products of 2019
This was my first post that dappled in the subject of sustainability and eco-friendly products, which is a topic that is very close to my heart! I’d definitely like to write more about this in the future.
#8 – 2019 Easter Decor Guide
Another decor post! The items in this post are so cute, I’m still wanting to buy a lot of these for our home. This post also makes me excited for spring!
#9 – Cleaning Makeup Brushes: Micellar Water vs Baby Shampoo
This post was definitely one of my favorite posts to write. It was so interesting to experiment and see which works best for cleaning makeup brushes. I still use baby shampoo to clean my brushes to this day!
#10 – Mystery Blogger Award
This post actually tied in number of views with the last post on cleaning makeup brushes. A huge thanks again to Kathy’s Crafts and Things for the nomination!
