I recently got back from an amazing family trip, and when packing I created a list of all of the essentials I’d need to bring. These essentials are so handy to have when traveling, and make life soo much easier! I’ve also included some photos from the trip at the end of this post. Hawaii is so beautiful!

In this post, I’ve created a guide for all of my recommended travel essentials. There’s so many necessities on this list from luggage tags to shower wipes. If you have a trip coming up or travel often, this guide is perfect for you. I hope this post gives you some good ideas for what to bring on your next trip!

Travel Pillow, Luggage, & Tags

These three things are at the top of my list of necessities for a good reason! Everyone needs a good luggage tag and travel pillow, especially if you’re going on a long flight. My suitcase featured throughout this post is a Delsey hardside suitcase, which is perfect if you’re like me and tend to pack too much. It’s super lightweight yet durable and can fit so much!

This neck pillow definitely helped me out a ton while I napped on a long flight. It also comes in black or blue. The luggage tags are another necessity to help prevent everyone’s dreaded nightmare of losing your luggage. These tags also come in multiple colors of grey, black, or blue.

Good Reading Materials

A good magazine or book is definitely a necessity for me when traveling in order to save me from boredom with long travel times. I don’t typically read magazines, but always like to read them on flights. This trip I brought National Geographic’s Healing Remedies, which is filled with tons of recipes and ideas for homemade remedies to improve health and wellness.

I also just started reading Where the Crawdads Sing. I’ve heard lots of good things about this book and am thinking of doing a review later on once I’ve finished it! I also brought The Sun and Her Flowers, as those poems are always such a joy to read.

Skin & Hygiene Essentials

When I travel, my bag is filled with mostly clothes and beauty products. This is where my list gets a little long, so bear with me!

Going from left to right, I’m going to start with the Mario Badescu facial spray. Their products are always super affordable and work amazing. The lavender, chamomile, and aloe is one of my favorites! Next up is another facial spray that I got as a Christmas gift. This Evian facial spray is super refreshing!

Now on to sunscreen, which is super important if you’re going to a very sunny destination. For my body I use this Australian Gold botanical sunscreen that’s SPF 50. Then for my face, I use the Bare Republic face sunscreen that’s SPF 30. Both are mineral sunscreens that are reef-safe and water-resistant.

Next up are my wipes and eye masks. These ACURE face cleansing wipes are amazing for traveling. ACURE is one of my favorite brands because they are cruelty free and 100% vegan. These wipes are also rose and cucumber so they smell amazing.

Now for the YUNI shower wipes. I had never heard of these before and was somewhat skeptical, but they definitely came in handy on this last trip! They are made with natural essential oils and are plant-based, biodegradable, and cruelty-free.

Last is a new favorite that I discovered from FabFitFun! These Wander Baggage Claim gold eye masks always make me feel so luxurious, and they work great at reducing under-eye puffiness and dark circles. They are also vegan and cruelty-free.

Now, here are some photos from my trip. It was absolutely amazing! I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and that it gave you some good ideas for what you might bring on your next trip. Happy travels!
